Girls' Night Out is this Friday!!

Can you believe that it's almost time for another GNO? I can't wait! I love getting together with all of you to stamp and chat :)

Here's a little preview of the card that we'll be making:

I 'cased' the layout idea for this card from a cute one that I found on SCS. Check it out HERE.

I'll post the picture of our scrapbook page in a day or too - just to keep up the suspense!!

**Just a reminder that GNO is $4 to cover the cost of supplies. I supply everything you need to complete the projects - including glue sticks, but I'd recommend bringing your own adhesive. Glue sticks aren't much fun to work with - they can warp your paper and make a mess, but I can't afford to provide SNAIL adhesive for everyone!

Go ahead and leave me a comment if you plan on coming. You can also RSVP by email or phone if you like; I just like to have our supplies cut out ahead of time :)

Sketch #13

Yeah, that's right - I missed Sketch #12. One day soon I'll have a scrapbooking marathon and make up the ones that I've missed :)

Here's the sketch:

And here's my take on it:

I had a hard time getting a great picture, but if you click on the image you can see all the details up-close. Not all of my supplies are from Stampin' Up (gasp!) but there are so many great products out there that it's hard to resist. The patterned paper and die cut embellishments are from SEI's 'Dill Blossom' line and I love it! I did use SU cardstock; Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip and So Saffron. I thought the papers really coordinated well together.

I loved the giant brads that coordinate with this line - a one inch brad; how much fun is that? I layered it onto some Chocolate Chip cardstock and adhered a button from the Latte Button set.

I used my square scallop punch to create a rectangle by adhering two squares together. After that it was pretty easy to hide the seam with the monogram. The only thing I stamped was the word 'Adorable' from the Warm Words set - don't you love that one? I use it all the time.
