MDS Blog Hop - Childhood memories

I was so excited about today's theme - I haven't scrapbooked any of my childhood photos!  Sadly, it's been another crazy week for me and I have no idea where I put my old pictures.  Maybe they're at my mom's house?  In Utah?  Hope so, because I'm not sure where else they'd be!

I can't wait for the Thanksgiving holiday.  With the exception of cooking a turkey, I'll be settled on the couch with my laptop, scrapping up a storm!  The first thing I'll start with is the last couple of MDS challenges I've missed out on.

I do have a page I can show you though - one I did for Convention and haven't posted yet.  I still have a couple of those up my sleeve  ;)  Our theme is childhood so I think this will fit right in - even though it's my cute, cute boys and not me.  It's amazing to me how much they've changed in just a few short years. Simon was only two in these pictures and Andrew had just turned five.

I decided to try an 11 x 8.5 layout since I nearly always design in 12 x 12 and it was a lot of fun.  I haven't done this size since I first started scrapbooking way back in high school!  The background is white so it's hard to tell the outline, but I think you'll get the idea :)  I used the Fan Fair kit which is one of my favorites.  I think I say that a lot - 'one of my favorites' - but there are so many great downloads available!  Can you really blame me?

I can't wait to see everyone's pages this week - and trust me, I will be scrapping some of my own childhood soon.  Have a fantastic weekend!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. What an adorable layout. Love the colors you used and the blocking.
