set to work. This is one of those pages that just started to come together from the beginning and I had so much fun with it. Every spare minute I had this week I was opening my laptop so that I could work on it some more. I recently downloaded the Walk in the Park kit, which just happens to have a few of the colors in our challenge. I mixed the colors a little, so you'll also see Pool Party and Lucky Limeade and a couple of the buttons I used from the Twitterpated kit are actually Riding Hood Red. But...I think it works. About half way through I did think of a great picture to use. I'd planned to do it in black and white because I thought - really, how else is pink going to work on a boys page? However, once I had it on the page I was surprised at how well the colors worked together - and who says a boys page needs "boy colors?" I'm here to show you that it can be done!
I also used the new Check It Out punches kit - it's AWESOME! I have wanted some rounded corner punches forever and this kit is just too much fun. To put the background of DSP and the photo together I used Heather Summer's technique for adding photos to punches - so there are four layers of punches there. Check out Heather's video here.
I know there are a couple of people who weren't able to do the challenge this week, but I hope you enjoy the hop! We really have so much fun putting this together for you each week!
